Got this question on Facebook:
Sameer bhai I read one of your articles today about why you quit your job and started MBA Crystal Ball. I'm working at [top company] since a year and find my job extremely monotonous where there is no place for ideas, innovation or anything where the use of brain is required.
I thought a job after MBA could be creative and would require some brain. I was all happy and ready to prepare for GMAT but after reading your article about why you left the corporate world, now I'm completely in a state of confusion and can't figure out anything in life what I'm supposed to do.
My one question for you: Is a job after an mba from top bschools like isb etc. really that boring and stressful? Please enlighten me.
My response:

It's less to do with the MBA, and more to do with the job you choose. I didn't enjoy working with numbers, since I consider myself to be more of a right-brained person.

I'm working much harder in my current role than I ever did. But I don't find it stressful. In fact, it's highly enjoyable, creative and rewarding.

If you find the right opportunity that is aligned with your aspirations and personality, you are less likely to feel the stagnation and stress.
