Dear Becca,

Could you also please throw some light on the interview process at MIT Sloan? Typically what is the candidate quizzed on? Is it the application details or resume or something new altogether? Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Best,
Geesha.

Hi Geesha,

Of course, I can!

The interview process is by invite only.

We use a behavioral based interview process. We typically ask a few lead questions with some follow up questions.

All interviewers have read your file so they are looking for some information that needs clarification or something that you may have not focused on in the application.

You are not quizzed on anything, we are just trying to learn more about you.

We make it as relaxed as possible with time for questions.

Best of luck,
Becca

Dear Becca,

Thank you for your inputs. Really appreciate your efforts here. You mentioned 'interviewers'. Are there multiple rounds of interviews or more than one interviewer? Thank you.

Best Regards,
Geesha.

Hi Geesha,

We only interview each candidate once. However, many different admissions officers interview.

Thanks,
Becca

Hi Becca,

Just a small query. I have applied to Sloan in round 1. In the app form, you are asked if you have taken calculus and microeconomics courses previously, indicating grades. I did take these courses in school, undergraduate years and during graduation. However, I put my graduation grades of B+. During my undergraduate years, these courses were more exhaustive and comprehensive and I got A's in both courses.

Just thought of asking you if I should mail admissions to let them know of this. Or do you think it is fine as it is? Sorry for such a question but it has been frustrating me and plaguing my mind for the last few days. Thanks in advance! Your help would be much appreciated!

Cheers!
Clark.

Hi Clark,

Thanks for your interest in MIT Sloan.

This is not an issue at all, do not worry. This is why we ask for the transcripts because we will also review all the classes you completed.

We have begun reviewing applications so look forward to reviewing yours!

Best of luck,
Becca

Thanks Becca. Appreciate your response. My transcripts show different titles for the courses, but I suppose that would be alright. I feel much better now. Thanks!

Clark.
