Actually when I set off to fill the application I cam across two sections.
1) International Aplicant - It asks about a number of questions rearding VISA requirements. I hope you would have come across somethinglike this last year. I was just wondering whether we have to worry about VISA now or only after getting the admit.

2) Residency - It was something related to residency of Texas which I think is not relevant for me. I sent a lot of mails to texas but in vain.

One last thing, do they waive off TOEFL/IELTS? I sent a mail seeking a waiver bur got no response.

U dnt need to put anything regarding visa ....u will be getting F1 visa i suppose....and u r nt a texas resident.

About the waiver if you dont receive a reply from the admission team then you will need the score so just may be ask them about the status of waiver request.

Ebuddy,

You have time on your hand, if you want to prepare for your GMAT from now on that is fine, but in general you dont need so much preptime for GMAT.

People generally have work ex when they go for their MBA. It does help a lot in even participating in classes. I would rather recommend you to get some work ex before you apply for your MBA. That said people do get in with very less work ex but in that case you need a stellar profile with a lot of extracurricular, internships etc.

Take your time to participate in activities outside your academics from now on.

Hi Sayantan,

First of all many thanks for your precious information's regarding Mays B-school that every body asked in this forum.Like all I'm also wanted to ask you couple of questions, which i mentioned below:
1. I have 2.6 years of exp. in SAP ( With Banking, Manufacturing and Retail sector) with minimum extra curricular activities. Would you think that my experience is not up to the mark of Mays expectation?
2. For getting a good scholarship what are the areas should i concentrate on while applying to B-schools ?

Regards,
Sameek Mazumder.
