Do you have any suggestions or feedback for us? Please post them here.

If you have worked with us for the MBA MAP or MBA Essays / Interviews...or if you've interacted with us over email, phone or forums...and you are feeling just a little shy (or concerned about what your office colleagues or boss might think about your MBA plans) posting a testimonial on our Facebook page, it'll be great if you can share your experiences here.

I guess I'll be taking virginity of this thread. :D

I have had the opportunity to interact with Sameer and Amit from MCB Team on this forum and have found all suggestions/advice/clarifications extremely helpful and honest. While some consultants will give you wrong advice just to push you to use their services, MCB is always honest even if it means that the concerned person would not be needing their services if he follows their advice.

Whenever I am ready to apply for an MBA I will surely be considering MCB and I would be directing a lot of my friends to this site as well (y)

Before I registered for the MBA MAP package, I had read Sameer's book - "Beyond the MBA Hype". It was a real eye opener. The book helped me introspect and come up with a plan for my MBA journey. Later I came to know of the MBA MAP service, and right away I knew that the author of this book would be the guy who could help me best with my overall profile evaluation and MBA strategy.

I can't thank Sameer enough for all the feedback he shared during the course of the program. There was a mock application process and then a mock interview through which he got to understand my story. He explained to me what the ad com members would look for in my application and knowing that how I could strengthen my application. I started having self-doubts after the initial session, but we had another round of discussion in which Sameer patiently helped me conquer my fears.

Then there is the MBA MAP report, which is a personalised profile evaluation report. It also matched my profile against a list of top colleges in the world and helped me choose colleges where I would stand a chance of getting an admit.

Overall, my experience working with Sameer was great. The MBA-MAP program and the book 'Beyond the MBA Hype' is a must for anyone serious about an international MBA.

I had a one hour call with Sameer for a general career counselling session and it was exactly what I needed.

For those who are still trying to figure out whether an MBA is the right thing for them in their personal context, I found the call very useful. It goes into a subjective analysis of the person's situation after accounting for the objective facts.

It was great to get honest and unbiased advice from an expert, a rare commodity in the MBA world :)

Cheers!!

Hello Sir
How are you..... i would like to tell you that i have read your book " Beyond the MBA Hype" . I know u must have received many such praise and good comments from your reader. really the book is a guide for MBA aspirant. I added many things regarding MBA into my knowledge, came to know about the much talked specializations like Investment Banking & Management Consulting,Peoples are generally not aware of specialization. Through this one can guess the picture of nature of job being done in these fields. Superb Writing . Awaiting for your next novel something which tells the reality like this novel , which makes you aware with the real world.

Sir
I want to pursue my MBA from India only , i have fixed my mind no one can change that . Now sir your novel was for International MBA. what do you have for a student like me who wants to clear the cut throat competition, donot have a average acads also (very poor academics), donot want to spend 40-50 lac. I would request you to atleast publish one novel in which you clearly put the scenario of Indian MBA starting from college to job in India after pursuing MBA from India. I know you must be having your own plannings but atleast give a thought to my idea. Will appreciate your comments on my above thought.

Shaan,

I see that you like experimenting with colours and fonts :-)

I'm glad you liked Beyond The MBA Hype.

If you want to aim for an Indian MBA, almost all the top full time MBA programs would cost below the range you've mentioned.

In fact, schools offering a one year MBA in India (ISB, IIMs) would cost half (approx 20-22 Lakhs) and offer excellent RoI.

Dear All,

I have recently completed the MBA MAP process with Sameer's team and trust me guys it is an eye opener. I would recommend it to everyone who is serious about applying to a Top ranked MBA program. It gives you a reality check as where you stand as on date.

For example when I started this process during the interview phase Sameer Kamath tore apart my entire story identified gaps and gave me a real feeler about the whole admission process. Greatest advantage is personal interview where SK grills you and tries to understand your profile in greater detail which is followed by the recommendations report. During the personal interview SK logically analysed my story gave me pointers as how various alternative scenarios could be built, how my application story could look more credible and gave an assignment to rebuild my story during the wrap up call.

The beauty of this whole process is that you never realise that based upon the inputs you recieve the clarity of goals and thoughts is much better.

Warning everyone! if you are looking for some one who will spoon feed you, forget it. Sameer will push you to think about every aspect in detail offer his comments and utlimatley make you work hard for plugging the gaps in application.

Also he is extremly professional and reverts back well before decided timeline. But A good part about this is that he is not money minded and goes beyond his normal allocated time to resolve your queries.

I am looking forward to working with his team on the Applications. Guys please do not keep the MAP for the last minute.

Best of Luck SK!

I came to know about Sameer Kamat and The MBA crystal Ball thru online research.
I contacted Sameer, enquiring about Career Map and his response time was amazing !
Rather than getting into “concept selling” for Career Map, he focused on my requirement and whether Career Map would suit my needs.
After the initial quick formalities, we got down to the role play, discussions and way forward.
My discussions with Sameer have been quite enriching.
He empathizes with you and helps you shortlist the solutions for your career issues, at the same time cautioning you about the pros & cons.
The overall process and approach is quite practical and focused on offering simple, logical yet highly effective solutions.
Thanks Sameer !!
