In that case, one additional item for you to check would be if the MBA program eligibility since some may insist on 16 year of full-time education.scparkar wrote:Yup, it's a distance m.com from Mumbai university.

It's good that you've already moved on from being a Dentist to a Program Manager.BDS, Lucknow, Master of Health Administration
5 years as Dental surgeon, and 3 years as program manager in Public health
GMAT 700
One year full time MBA from IIM A
Will the program help me in career advancement
Is IIM PGPEX better than ISB Hyderabad
The IIM degree is meant for a different profile (folks with higher experience). For where you are currently, ISB will fit better.
The big question here is What exactly do you mean by 'career advancement'? What is it that an MBA can give you that you haven't already got from your Masters degree in Health Administration.

I am not really sure about how to approach the application process for MBA programs abroad.I want to know that with my current profile where I stand in comparison to other applicants.
Currently your experience level is too low for GMAT MBA colleges and slightly on the higher side for MiM.
The GMAT scores for most applicants in the IT pool are higher than yours. Over the next few months, you could think about retaking it and also work on strengthening your profile.
Here's an article to get you started on the process: How to get into the best MBA colleges

No one can guess at this point in time how the admissions team will view GRE scores. In fact, even for other (international) schools that have been accepting GRE scores, there's very little official information on the statistics.B. Tech in CS
5 years experience in education industry, currently academic head and content developer
GRE 317( Q170 V147)
I am looking to apply in ISB for sept 2017 intake using my GRE score.
ISB has started accepting GRE score from this year, i just wanted to know about the application process and about this score acceptence.
Here's what we wrote on this topic earlier:
https://www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2015 ... s-schools/
But purely based on the estimated GMAT equivalent, your GRE score seems low.

Considering your geo-constraints, why hold back? Go ahead and apply to all the good prorams in India.B.Tech ETC from Bengal Engineering and Science University

700 (Q51 V31 AWA 5 IR 6) | Test Date - April 2015
My Target is to do MBA in India, only exception being INSEAD.
Q. Should I target IIM A with my experience??
Q. I am targeting IIM-B, IIM C, ISB as of now, any other suggestions??
Q. Please guide me on how to begin the application process as i dont want to wait for the deadlines.
There are also a few other IIMs (I / L) and other insitutes (XLRI, SP Jain) offering 1-year options, but not at the same level as the ones you've mentioned.
Start working on developing your storyline that'll go into the essays. And a higher GMAT would've been helpful, if you have the time/inclination.

1. Depends on which bschools you have on the target list.B.E Civil, 3 years , currently QA lead
680(Q45 V38) October 2015| TOEFL 115
1. How competitive is my profile.
2. which schools are within my reach
3. Should I do an MSc vs MBA
4. how is Crystal ball diffrent from other services.
Many QA applicants who've worked with us have a specific problem area - post-MBA goals. You haven't talked about it, so I'm not sure if you've left it out because you're very clear about it (and don't need a validation), or the other way around (i.e. open-ended for now).
2. See point 4 below.
3. This would be related to your goals. It would be incorrect to firm on the degree and then think about what you want from it. The reverse is true. Decide on where you want to take your career, and then decide on the appropriate degree.
4. While most teams are more than happy to rattle out a few names in response to question 2, we are probably the only team to shoot ourselves in the foot by not answering it (since we think quick and easy answers are not in the interest of applicants).
On a serious note, I think there's some independent work (research and introspection) you'd need to do at your end before hiring a consultant.
And if at all possible, try to get the score higher. That'll give the Adcoms one less thing to worry about.

It's commendable that you have tried to crack the GMAT thrice, while grappling with professional and personal tasks.7 years experience, currently working as a Business Analyst
GMAT 610 (Q44 V30) 28 Nov 2015
I have taken the GMAT thrice already and 610 has been my best score so far.Can you please evaluate my profile and let me know if I can apply to the following schools?
However, as you probably know already, that score is going to be the weakest link in the application.
The only person we know of who has cracked ISB with a 610 has shared his story here:
https://www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2013 ... mat-score/
If the GMAT is not your cup of tea, you could try taking the GRE. Some find it easier. And most international bschools (and some Indian ones like ISB) accept GRE scores as well.

The rationale for an MBA is too vague. You'll have to get more specific about your goals.BTech in Mechanical from NIT
6 years working experience, 4 yrs as Assistant Mananger
GMAT 730 [Estimated]
PGPX at IIMA
I am looking for a change from the type of job where you know where you see yourself after 35 years. How well does my profile fit to the MBA requirements?
The current statement leaves the game wide open and can go anywhere. And Adcoms don't like that.
Why defer the application plans (and the uncertainty) till next year? And why are you only considering PGPX, and leaving so many good options internationally?

It is unusual for folks with your background to be stuck between the two degrees.B.Tech in Mechanical Engg
9 years with Senier Design Engineer
One year or Full Time??
US, I am presently in US
I want to do MBA One year from ISB or IIM or US university.
Should I do MS as I am in technical background with expereince in mechanical Industry
MS or MBA??
Most are quite clear that it's an MBA, mainly because it's a platform to move away from what they are currently doing.
Going for an MS would mean you are entrenching yourself into the field that you are already in, making it tougher to move into a managerial role.
Is that what you have in mind?
I'm not too sure, since you've also listed Indian MBA programs.
