Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
Ebuddy, You have time on your hand, if you want to prepare for your GMAT from now on that is fine, but in general you dont need so much preptime for GMAT. People generally have work ex when they go for their MBA. It does help a lot in even participating in classes. I would rather recommend you to ge...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
Hi MBA2013, First of all Mays doesn't focus a lot on GMAT scores. But a higher score doesn't hurt you either. Frankly speaking 640 is a bit low if you can increase your score it will increase your chance of being admitted. Internationals do face a problem when it comes to recruitment and this is the...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
Hi MBAA Since you have 3.5 years of work experience I believe you will have some leadership experience during that period. You can put any length of time during which you led any team as a managerial experience. By managerial experience they want to find out your experience as a leader or decision m...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
Hey akhil1985, I believe an experience as a placement coordinator may not be counted as a professional experience. Just do a bit more of introspection and try to find out if you can add any professional experience. I will also suggest that if you think your experience as placement coordinator is a v...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
MBAtrooper ALl the best for your GMAT. The essays are the most important part of your application. I guess you can start generating ideas for your essays simultaneously from now on along with your GMAT preparations. I won't say that applying in the third round means you are too late. But at the same...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
MBAtrooper, I have around 4 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry with one of the firms in India. Mays generally ask for a minimum of 2 years of work experience. But they may consider less if you an exceptional candidate and they think you can add a lot of value to the program. About Mays the ...

Re: Mays Business School MBA Texas A&M University
I am a current 1st year MBA student at Texas A&M. The journey so far has been hectic and enjoyable. Class size is very small which helps in connecting with each and every class member much more easily. I have experienced a lot in the last month and a half. From adapting to the high paced curricu...
